| Education and Associations: | Bob has a number of advanced college degrees and is a high school Biology teacher at Newington High School. He has been honored as Teacher of the Year in the Newington School District. He has served on a number of NEAS&C high school accreditation teams and, as a member of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, he has evaluated a number of college teacher preparation programs. |

| Public Service | Bob serves as chairman of the Planning and Zoning
Commission, leading the Commission's work on the Plan of Conservation and
Development, as well as the current review of all zoning regulations. Bob is a past chairman of the Republican Town Committee. He is also a member of the Prospect Land Trust. In the past, has served the town as Chairman of the Inland Wetlands Committee and has frequently been elected as moderator of various town meetings. Bob has also freely given of his time as a former tee-ball coach and girls basketball coach. Bob was a member of the PTOs at Algonquin, Community, and Long River Middle Schools. As a former member of the Prospect Jaycees, Bob devoted many hours to the Region 16 Special Olympics Program. |
